SOCIAL DESIGN / REFLECT
Facebook post designs
Make a page update easy to recognize: an event, a new service or a community announcement. Use the landscape artwork to show the subject clearly while keeping the longer discussion in the post text.
FORMAT WORKFLOW
From purpose to finished artwork.
Name the update
Choose an informative headline rather than a vague slogan. For an event, identify what is happening before adding the date and location.
Balance image and details
Give the subject room in the landscape frame. Keep essential text inside the margins and avoid putting small details over a busy photograph.
Prepare the post
Download the artwork, then add the full explanation in Facebook. Check the uploaded preview before publishing it to your page or community.

FAQ
Before you start.
Does the Facebook post artwork create an event?
No. The artwork can announce an event, but its actual event page, registration and invitations must be created separately in the service you use.
Can a Facebook post picture include a website address?
Yes, as visible text. Add the actual clickable URL to the post or another appropriate Facebook field; the exported picture itself is not interactive.
Should all event details fit inside a Facebook image?
Keep the name, date and most important detail on the artwork. Put the longer programme and instructions in the accompanying post text.
How is a Facebook post different from an ad design?
A page update can explain or inform without a sales action. Use the related ad format when the composition needs one offer and a clear action; ad setup remains external.
